Shaving after self tanner???

I am about to use St Tropez auto bronzant.
I’m following directions and sleeping in it over night. Is it better to shave my legs BEFORE I put it on? Or can I do it the next morning after rinsing off??

Shave your legs before you put it on.

If not, when you go to shave the next morning, you are esencially shaving off all your dyed dead skin cells. That is why most of these self-tanners say to exfoliate before you put it on.
