I also have pale skin and I use Fake Bake Mousse. You put it on before you go to bed and you get a wierd grey covering (don’t worry it’s normal), than you shower it off in the morning and presto, you have a tan.

I am a religious user of self-tanners and the Fake Bake mousse has given me the best results yet!! I read many reviews that said the mousse shows up lighter than the cream, but in my case it was the opposite. I would recommend any Fake Bake product, but this one is so easy to apply and leaves me looking about 5 shades darker in the morning! I also have sensitive skin, and it doesn’t cause breakouts either! I wear gloves when applying this product, and I use a makeup sponge to apply it to my face, hands, and feet and sleep in it. It doesn’t look at all orange, doesn’t rub off on sheets or clothes, and after a shower in the morning you have a beautiful tan. My only complaint (and you get this with ANY self-tanner) is that is does start to wear off on your elbow and knee pits when you sweat!
Just a little tip, I use this product all over my body once a week and do touch-ups with Tan Towels (which you can also purchase on Amazon).

Fake Bake is the best sunless tanner I’ve found and I have just about tried them all. It has a color guide/bronzer that gives you color instantly and it develops quickly. It doesn’t come off on your clothes and it does not have the smell that is usually identified with sunless tanners. It is the best!

Horrible to apply. Smears, streaks, drys too fast for well-blended application. I immediately got in the shower to wash it off. I have used the Air Brush version and loved the result, but I opted for the mousse because the spray nozzle clogged easily. I will never buy it again.

The mousse is ok when I first tried it i loved it but to reapply i noticed you have to exfolliate your skin thoroughly because if not it will then give a dirty uneven look on your skin, i like to use the mousse on my face…overall i like it.
just bought some st tropez instant glow mousse so good but overpriced!
I have to say I used XEN tan and IMO it’s the most overrated product I have ever used.
I did everything you are suppose to and exfoliated and it not only left me streaky but it left me bright orange. The san Tropez wasn’t as great as it is hyped up to be either. But XEN tan is the worst thing I have ever used in my life. I am shocked that so many people like it. I am not naturally pale either. When in the sun I go a nice brown color.
is there a reason why you shouldn’t use garnier summerbody on your face?
do you have to buy the summerface version?

Oh god…st.tropez turned me oompa loompa orange…I have hd excellent luck with Fake Bake self tanning lotion…and i am eggshell white normally…it is really goofproof…If you have problems of turning orange with self tanners Fake Bake is awesome because it has an olive base…but different things work well with different people and i think its great that you reviewed several different products on here…thanks for posting

@kailyn2894 I use Dove Energy Glow and it’s FANTASTIC! It’s gradual so you can decide how dark you wanna get. I absolutely LOVE it and it comes in light, medium and dark.

omg johnsons holiday skin is so biscuity!! i have dove summer glow with shimmer and it’s more fine glitter than a sheen that only reflects when the light hits it, so i’d be wary!xx

st moitz on my body and rimmel sun shimmer on top i reccomend this for anyone!
I went to buy some more fake tan today as i ran out, i couldn’t choose between xen and st tropez. I ended up sticking with the st tropez but i got the new wash off instant glow instead and its amazing!! soo much better than the regular range. I bought the xen mitt though! Next time I will defintley try this as i have a sensitive nose too!x
@kailyn2894 I would always suggest something olive toned as they look most natural on anyone. St Tropez lotion is pretty foolproof! x

@lilybecause All fake tans are different for everyone depending on the temperature of your shower, if you shower or take baths, and how often you exfoliate or moisturise, but for me about a week. x
