Question by living my life the best way: Jergen’s self Tanning lotion for body and face. What’s your opinion on the products?
Okay, well 2 days ago I bought the Jergen’s self tanner. It’s a daily lotion that daily develops a tan. I have tried the body tanning self tanner from Jergen’s, but not the face tanning lotion. The face tanning lotion said it had no oil, and I would think it would not make me breakout. I do have sensitive skin, and I wear Light Ivory make – up, so I have a pale color skin, but not paper white. My acne is starting to all go away, and I just want to make sure this face tanner is okay. I spent on this stuff, so I need it to work. Also, I’m not getting a spray tan, or use a tanning bed, so don’t suggest it. Thanks

First off, you are very smart to not use the tanning beds!! Jergens has 2 tones of lotions light & dark. The best for you would be the lighter product. I always buy the face lotion too. There is a difference in the chemical compounds. I have extremely sensitive skin also and I have never had any problems with it. Even on my face. I always use it in the winter time because it gives the face a nice glow & help to stave off the awful winter gray skin. Some people who use it regularly can go without foundation…which is a bonus

smart idea avoiding the tanning beds!
i wouldn’t use the self tanner on your face just yet. wait until your acne is cleared up, because the lotion could burn/sting it. also, i would apply it on saturday…that way if you have a reaction, you have saturday and sunday for it to get better.
thats what happened to me when i used jergen’s…except i was stupid and used it on a sunday night, so i went to school the next day with blotches all over my face!
over time though, my skin got used to it…now i don’t have any reactions and my face is a perfect shade of tan!
