if i use one of those self tan lotions like Neutrogena bronze or something, how long will the tan last. and what are the best products to use that will last the longest and look good?

I don’t like most self tanners because the smell is horrible and they are hard to apply evenly. But I did try Neutrogena Summer Glow and it wasn’t bad. It’s one of those moisturizers with a little self tanner and you have to use it daily to see results. I didn’t notice a huge difference, like a real natural tan, but it did work. If you stop using it, it fades in a few days. The smell wasn’t bad either and it seems to be the only one with sunscreen (SPF 20).

You have to apply the lotion once, daily, for about three days. Then you’ll have a tan, and to keep that up, apply the lotion once a week, one day.
I use Jergens natural glow lotion…but you have to use it right in order to look the most naturally tan.
It comes in three skin tones (light, medium and dark) It is a moisturizer, so you just apply it daily all over your body (you can also buy natural glow for the face) and let it dry a few minutes before getting dressed. If you do it before you go to bed, you should wake up with noticably darker skin, but it will smell kind of weird, so I always take a quick rinse off in the shower in the morning, but you dont want to shave your legs, etc, because it will take off the tan as well lol…I apply the lotion generally everyday, and it keeps up a fairly natural looking tan…you just have to be careful and if you notice it getting a little bit yellow in color, maybe skip a day so you dont look like an Oompla Loompa from willie wonka! Also, lightly wash your hands after you apply the lotion, because if you don’t, they will turn more orange than the rest of your body, because they are generally drier than the rest of your skin, so they soak up the most lotion. I used to tan outside, and I’d get a nice tan, but it’s just not worth it to have to worry about skin cancer down the road. I hope you found this helpful!
