Oh my sister does this all the time and my aunt is a co-manager of a spa where they do spray on tans, so I am pretty much an expert lol.
-Don’t put your clothes back on too fast
-Use disposable gloves so it doesn’t get on your hands
-Make sure you DO get it in your hair. The biggest mistake people make is not getting it in their hair, which makes your scalp look weird compared to your skin. Just be sure to wash it all out
Shaving your legs usually exfoliates good enough but on other parts (like elbows, face, any rough patches) use a body scrub. I like St. Ives Apricot Scrub (its cheap…$2 and works well). Do your legs and arms FIRST, then your torso…so you dont get lines around your middle, hands last.
A tip so your hands look natural. (If you can have someone else spray them) Hold the hand you’re spraying like a claw with your fingers spread wide. Then you get inbetween the fingers and you don’t have wide, white obvious marks! Only do a light spray on your hands, knees, and elbows since those areas tend to look darker faster.
I would use a lotion for the face. Then you can see where you’re putting it rather than blindly spraying your face!
Keep a small makeup sponge or something similar close by to blot any drips!
Good Luck!
