Question by joy_gone_wild: What is the best way to apply a self tanning spray and keep it from streaking?
I have had bad luck with self tanning spray. I now have Loreal brand sublime bronze any angle self tanning spray. I have used it once before, but I ended up with streaks, even though it says streak free. I’m not sure what went wrong because it was a long time ago. I have also tried the lotion that builds a tan over time, but after using it for a week streaks started to appear. I would take a shower and it seemed like the lotion had left a soap scum like build up and parts of it just started stripping off. Also I was left with dark areas where my skin is more dry around my knees and ankles even though I put regular lotion on those areas before I used the tanning lotion. Is there any special trick to getting this stuff on evenly, and then keeping it on, and lastly if it does come off or become streaky how do i get it off?
I just took a shower, shaved, and exfoliated… what do I do now?

thoroughly exfoliate your skin
apply moisturiser – especially to the knees and ankles

when fully absorbed spray on the tanning spray

once sprayed on – massage in gently using circular motions – this reduces the streaking
